Your adventure begins here with saddling up your horse along with pack horses in tow and heading into the remote backcountry trails in the culturally rich, diverse landscape of western Yukon. The well known Dickson family has helped the past stay alive. For three generations the family has been sharing the spectacular nature of the Kluane and White River area and its remarkable surroundings. Our trails can be rugged however our camps are well developed to offer our visitors the experience of true old-fashion northern hospitality. Our professional guides and wranglers will lead you through breathtaking valleys, lush green forests, forging rivers and creeks, to high alpine lakes and remarkable mountain passes.
Our horses have been an integral part of our operation. All of them have been raised by us in our area & we have been around them since they were colts. With this in mind the horses we use on these trips are very gentle. No special riding skills are required. They are at home no matter which area we go to. The horses are chosen especially to meet your needs and experience, will win you over with their charming personalities and amaze you with their abilities. Camps, equipment and supplies are clean and well maintained. Whether you like to rough it in a wall tent camp or relax in cozy comfortable cabins, we have the western holiday experience for you. Our Base Camps add a touch of home to the backcountry with comfortable beds and the most scenic porches whether it is sitting to enjoy reading a book, a glass of wine, or the simple peace and tranquility that surrounds you on a long summer evening. So leave behind the deadlines and schedules and trade them for fresh mountain air, a good horse and a trail that leads you to one spectacular view after another. Bring your camera wildlife viewings are always a possibility as the Dall Sheep, Moose, Bears, and Caribou roam freely throughout the area. If you love fishing take some time out to cast a line for Northern Pike, Arctic Grayling and Lake Trout. You’ll be glad you did!
